Proper installation is the key to avoiding 90% of common PVC ceiling problems such as warping, wide gaps, sagging or rattling sounds, not faulty materials. The modular click lock system makes installation fairly straightforward, but the only way to guarantee a perfectly flat, secure and long-lasting finish is to follow the standardized workflow to the letter.

1. Before Installing
Before installation, be sure to clean the ceiling substrate thoroughly so that it is flat, dry and free of dirt, oil, or protrusions. Verify that the tile patterns and quantities are as specified. Inspect all panels for any shipping damage or deformation. Always use original manufacturer's matching tracks, clips, edge trims and accessories Finally, create a layout plan according to the room's dimensions to reduce waste and maximize overall symmetry.

2. Framing and Installing Track
The framing setup is the skeletal structure of your ceiling. Commercial projects prefer light gauge steel framing, but timber batten framing is suitable for residential applications.

  • The spacing between joists/battens must be kept strictly and uniformly at 30–40 cm.
  • The whole framing has to be fixed rigid as the devil, so that it cannot move or rattle.
  • Ensure the wall perimeter edge trims are levelled perfectly to avoid any sagging or unevenness in the ceiling later on.

3. Installing the Panel
Always start panel installation from a corner. Align the click lock tongue and groove joints and press the two together gently and evenly until they snap securely into place. This ensures a smooth joint with no lipage (uneven edges).

  1. Every few rows check and re-adjust the horizontal level to avoid cumulative misalignment.
  2. Make all cuts clean and burr free.
  3. Ensure any cut edges are along hidden boundaries or within the edge trims to achieve a flawless aesthetic.

4. Final Inspection and Completion
Install perimeter edge trims when the panels are laid to cleanly cover the borders and seal micro-gaps to prevent dust and moisture. Perform a complete walkthrough to check the ceiling for overall flatness, stability and alignment.
Critical Installation Don'ts:

  1. Never force slam or hit panels against each other.
  2. Do not install over a wet or damp ceiling base.
  3. Do not work in extreme temperatures, because thermal expansion and contraction can cause buckling later.
